Your Attendance is very important
You must make sure that you attend every day of school if you can. You can be away for the two reasons below.
We will send you, your parents and your agent a letter if your attendance drops below 95%, 90%, 85% and 79%.
Medical Reasons
If you are away for a medical reason, we will require a Medical Certificate.
Compassionate or Compelling Reasons
We will send you, your parents and your agent a letter if your attendance drops below 95%, 90%, 85% and 79% in a Study Period.
High School Preparation Study Period = 1 Term
Secondary School Study Period = 1 Semester
Attendance Letter 1 (95%)
If your attendance drops below 95%, we will send you, your parents and your agent a letter expressing our concern.
Attendance Letter 2 (90%)
If your attendance drops below 90%, we will send you, your parents and your agent a letter expressing our concern.
Attendance Letter 3 (85%)
If your attendance drops below 85%, we will send you, your parents and your agent a letter expressing our concern.
Attendance Letter 4 (79%) - A Big Problem
If your attendance drops below 80%, we will send you, your parents and your agent a letter expressing our concern. If your attendance gets this low, we will decide if you should stay studying at the College. We may be required to report you to the Australian Government which would cancel your CoE to study at the College
