Doctors and Overseas Student Health Insurance

When visiting a doctor or hospital, you will need to take your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) information with you. You should make sure you know this information at all times.

Doctors on Demand (Online Video Link)

The easiest way to see a doctor is through Doctors on Demand. If you are under 16 years of age, you will need to have your appointment with your homestay, boarding supervisor or JPIC staff member.

You need to make sure you use a correct email address.

Step 1

Go to www.doctorsondemand.com.au and click on ‘Redeem a Benefit’.

Step 2

Enter your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy number. Ask the JPIC reception for the number if you have forgotten it.

Step 3

Choose a date and time. You can also click on filter and find a doctor who speaks your language and other options

Step 4

Choose ‘Doctor’ or ‘Online Psychologists’

Continue with the steps and entering your information. If you need help, please come to the JPIC office.
