SKIMMING PRACTICE

Skim the information below (From the JPC website) and find the answers to these questions:

  1. How do JPC students pay for their meals?
  2. What is different in the way younger students buy their meals?

JPC operates a cashless tuckshop (canteen), allowing students to use their student ID card to pay for breakfast, morning tea and lunch items. Students in Years Four to Twelve can use their cards to pay for meals. Paying by card is safer and more secure than cash, with a photo and identification displayed on the register screen every time you buy something. From Year Four, the Tuckshop offers self-service. For students in Prep to Year Three, parents may order online and have their order delivered to their child’s classroom. Primary School students are not allowed to buy soft drinks at the Tuckshop. Our menu changes regularly and is posted in the Student Notices.

Answers:

  1. They use their ID card instead of cash.
  2. Their parents can order online and have the food delivered to their classroom.
