Use mindmaps and diagrams.

 A mindmap is an effective way of taking down notes. You start by writing a heading in the centre of the page and then the subheadings branch out. You can use words or phrases, pictures and colour as well as symbols.

Tip

Use both facing pages of an open A4 notebook, and begin in the middle of the page to allow plenty of space for adding keywords and symbols!Â
